MEET YOUR GUIDE
Born into a fourth-generation spiritual lineage, she was raised in a world of embodiment, ritual, transformation, and the sacred union of masculine and feminine. For over three decades, she has guided women through movement, expressive healing arts, tantra, temple arts, and somatic practice — from intimate ceremony spaces to global stages, helping them reclaim the wisdom, power, and creative life force within their bodies.
Her path is informed by training in Dance Therapy at Naropa University, studies with original 5Rhythms teachers, temple arts and tantra yoga in India, and the Life/Art Process at Tamalpa Institute. Through retreats, workshops, certifications, and transformational programs, her work has reached tens of thousands of women around the world seeking deeper truth, liberation, and embodied power.
Sofiah is also co-founder of Envision Festival in Costa Rica as well as Danyasa Eco-Retreat with her husband of 20 years.
At 50, she feels less defined by age and more devoted to what is timeless.

Life has initiated me again and again through my womb. A miscarriage that almost took my life. A womb surgery that carried me into perimenopause. Each time, an old identity had to die so something truer could live.
